For pest control companies: adding a repellent treatment to your service
A repellent surface treatment gives pest control companies a preventive service to offer between visits, and a product clients can use themselves.

Pest control companies are asked for more than knock-down. Clients want fewer visits for the same problem, treatments they can live with during opening hours, and something preventive between appointments. A repellent surface treatment is one way to offer that.
How it works
How it fits a pest control service
- As a preventive routine: mapped edges treated on a cycle, recorded at each visit with the areas treated and the re-entry times.
- After a knock-down: once an infestation has been dealt with, a treated edge holds the route until the next visit.
- As a client product: clients treat agreed edges between visits, following the label, which keeps you in the conversation.
It sits alongside monitoring and proofing. It does not replace them, and it does not clear an infestation.
Settings
- Restaurants and cafés: perimeters, behind appliances and storage areas, away from food and food contact surfaces.
- Supermarkets: racking uprights, backrooms and delivery doors.
- Hotels: rooms on a rotation while out of service, and the frames between terrace and room.
- Childcare and schools: rooms treated while they are empty, outside occupancy hours.
Talking to clients
Describe the procedure, not the outcome. “It is applied to edges and frames, not to the air.” “It sits alongside monitoring and proofing; it does not replace them.” The sentence bank in the professional library has the wording to use.
Trade accounts, prices and sample kits are available through Repeltec Professional.
Use biocides safely. Always read the label and product information before use.
